JOURNEYING WITH CARMEL

This book contains extracts from the recently approved Constitutions of the Carmelite Order (O.Carm.). It has been published in order to make Carmelite spirituality, as expressed in the official documents of the Order, better known. In addition, there are two explanatory articles which have been specially commissioned for this volume and not available elsewhere. The noted Milltown theologian, Christopher O'Donnell O.Carm. writes on the evolution of the Constitutions from 1971 to 1995 and their place in the Order. Prize-winning writer Jack Welch O.Carm., deals with the more general issue of Carmelite identity and tradition. 80pp 9/4 PBK
